CHALICE CIRCLE

DISCONTINUED FOR THE WINTER

WILL RESUME SOME TIME IN 2018

No matter if you are a member, a friend, or a visitor to the congregation, this may be a perfect fit for you.  A small group setting is a great place to get to know other people and to get to know yourself.  Over time, participants build deep connections with one another, with the congregation, and with the sacred.

Whether the topic is “good and evil,” “mindful living” or “letting go,” the conversation is respectful and caring and leads to greater understanding.  In each session, facilitated by a member of the congregation, all participants have opportunity to share their perspectives, tell their stories, and listen deeply.  The participants commit to meet regularly to provide mutual support and encouragement in each other's spiritual growth and development.

If you want a safe, confidential place to discuss feelings and values without judgment, this is your place.  If you want an opportunity to explore and develop thoughts and beliefs, join us.  If you want an opportunity to develop deeper connections to people in your fellowship, this is for you.  Come, come whoever you are.

The Chalice Circle meeting begins with a reading, a chalice lighting, and a check-in to allow participants to say what is going on in their livers.  The core of the meeting centers around sharing and active listening.  Each person is given the opportunity to express an opinion, without interruption, on the meeting's topic.  Each meeting adjourns with a brief check-out  and another reading.

We will meet on the second and fourth Sunday nights at 5:00 p.m. beginning in June.
